With her time at Dance Theatre of Harlem, she danced for Michelle Obama, danced on The View and has done various performances at City center, Lincoln Center, and the Apollo. In addition to being a recipient of the Van Lier Fellowship from 2016 to 2018.
A recent graduate and dance major from Temple University with a Bachelor of fine arts, so far Bri has performed with All space world dance at the Roots picnic music festival this past June and is eagerly looking forward to more future project, performances and creative endeavors in the commercial world.
Using 14 years of professional training and technique, my movement and choreography are deeply rooted in transformative emotions and lived experiences. I channel the power of groove—through both music and dance—to cultivate connection and community with myself, my dancers, and my audience, creating an immersive and emotive experience. My dancing and choreography is one that incorporates the soul alongside intentionality, authenticity, and resilience. The importance of taste in music and musicality is a significant element in my work. Along with the element of storytelling through subtle, evocative movement that deeply resonates.
